Temporada 3 · Espasmos del Fin · JVV-T3-24
Qubit child: childhoods in superposition
I Born between two states
The babies of radical accelerationism do not arrive with a loaf under their arm: they arrive with qubits.
Pilot clinics in Estonia and Korea already offer **“obstetric entanglement”** —a protocol that takes stem cells from the cord, implants NV-center nanodiamonds, cools them in vitro and links them to a twin pair in a data centre.
The result: every newborn owns a quantum bit paired with the cloud.
The parents get a dashboard where the phase collapse is translated into “educational potential”: arts vs. STEM, introversion vs. extroversion, and so on.
“Childhood at 2 years = superposition; primary school = forced measurement.”
II Engineering the entangled birth
| Phase | 2026 technique | Ethical risk |
|---|---|---|
| Extraction | Cord → 5 nm NV-center coating | Diamond/tissue contamination |
| Micro-cryo cooling | 4 K, 12 min | Cell damage if the ramp is badly shaped |
| Residual entanglement | GaAs lens + 637 nm laser | Phase desynchrony > 5 % ⇒ an “orphan” qubit |
| Decoherence dashboard | An app showing vocational probability | The quantum Pygmalion effect (self-prophecy) |
(A conceptual map; no recipe and no surgical parameters.)
III Formula for “creole potential”
- T_2
- decoherence time (years);
- F_{\text{ambiente}}
- social noise (screens, heat, wifi);
- \beta_{\text{parental}}
- upbringing bias (0–1).
The lower the noise and the smaller the bias, the longer the superposition lives; the “measurement” of who that child will be is postponed.
IV Use scenarios (2025-26)
| Setting | Promise | Actual drift |
|---|---|---|
| Q-Garden nursery (Tallinn) | Free play while-entangled | Parents ask for the qubit to be collapsed at 3 “to plan the career” |
| Startup Edu-Schrödinger (Seoul) | Teacher-qubit matching | The teachers already teach biased; express decoherence |
| Project Orphanhood-Φ (cryptoDAO) | Sponsor childhoods without collapsing them until 18 | Donors vote to collapse if the emotional ROI ↓ |
V Superposed paradoxes
- Free will vs. quantum phase — If all potential is measured late, is there a genuine decision or just a deferred reading?
- Qubit inequality — Only families with €40 000 buy the pack; superposition becomes a privilege.
- Phase orphans — The remote qubit dies; the child is left with no “twin” → the parents sue the clinic for a “mutilated destiny”.
VI Counterweights and safeguards
| Mechanism | How it helps | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Charter of Potential | The child decides at 12 whether to collapse | Limited abstract capacity to consent |
| Decoherence insurance | Cover for psychic damage if the qubit collapses on its own | High premium; cheap clinics are priced out |
| Zero-entropy nursery | Faraday rooms, 18 °C, 50 % RH | A technopathic bubble; reduced social contact |
VII Household ritual of quantum humilitysafe

Keep the paper with nothing crossed out: acknowledge your own uncollapsed superposition.
VIII Coda
“Do not measure the child before they dream; they might choose a value your mind cannot bear.”
The qubit child embodies the accelerationist dilemma: delaying the measurement promises freedom, but it turns childhood into a Schrödinger table watched over by investors in human futures.
Perhaps the real revolution is raising childhoods that accept the noise, letting the collapse happen… when the child themselves —not the laser, not the market— decides to open the box.
