Synapse-Matrix: every author in 256 weights
I The dream of co-hallucination
What would happen if we put Land, Deleuze, Haraway, Marx, Fisher, Zorn… into the same prefrontal cortex, wired them to 256 electrodes and let them spark until they fused?
The Synapse-Matrixwould be born: a 16 × 16 model of weights standing for the force with which each author fires or inhibits the rest.
An internal llm —SynaptiCore-256— already runs that network and drafts hybrid paragraphs every time James blinks.

II How the weights were burned in
- Dataset — 1,500 key pages per author, tokenised.
- ϕ-shock current — 0.7·λ of Land, 0.6·λ of Fisher… (λ = citation frequency across Seasons 1-3).
- Existential back-prop — loss function = (redundancy − dissonance²).
- Ethical clipping — values > 0.8 on bio-risks are trimmed to 0.79 (containment frame).

The Synapse-Matrix is no definitive algorithm but a neural mirror: it shows how close our references stand… and how fiercely the friction between them sparks.
As long as James keeps modulating the 256 weights, the coming seasons will not be anthologies—they will be crossed convulsions of voices that still do not know they already share an axon.
